چکیده
Genotype environment interaction and stability performance were investigated on grain yield per plot in eight environments during Rabi (here, rabi means that a crop has been grown season: crops are sown winter harvested spring the Indian subcontinent) 2019–2020 2020–2021 using 100 diverse wheat genotypes. Research was conducted at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India. The analysis of variance revealed genotype, their had highly significant effect as reflected Eberhart Russel model Russell indicated suitability genotypes WH 1142, PBW 661, 475 DBW 17 with high mean, bi > 1 non-significant deviation from regression to favorable environment, whereas UP 2660 88 < found suitable for poor environment. Additive Main Effects Multipicative Interaction (AMMI) across showed 26.41% total variation attributed genotypic effects, 70.22% environmental effects 3.37% genotype × effects. AMMI biplot study 750, DPW 621-50, 542, 486, 661 1192 stable they did not exert strong interactive forces; hence, selected potential candidates possible release areas. Furthermore, which-won–where adaptation 706, 769, 116, 1157, 789 WH1186 first mega-environment 16, 1152, 1105 503 second. Analysis of grain yield stability and assessment of genotype × environment interaction for grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) genotypes
The interaction of genotype × environment creates complications in yield prediction and is a challenge for agronomy and plant breeding programs. To evaluate grain yield stability and genotype × environment interaction for 18 local and exotic grain sorghum cultivars, lines, and hybrids, a field experiment was conducted using randomized complete block design with three replications in four region...
متن کاملInterpreting Genotype × Environment Interaction in Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes Using Nonparametric Measures
The objectives of this study were to compare nonparametric stability measures, and to identify promising high-yield and stable bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes in 7 environments during 2003-2005 in the central Black Sea region of Turkey. The bread wheat genotypes (20 advanced lines and 5 cultivars) were grown in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications in 7 different e...

The objective of this experiment was to analyze genotype × environment (GE) interaction for grain yield of 20 durum wheat genotypes to identify the yield stability and adaptability of genotypes using GGE biplot method as well as some univariate stability statistics. The genotypes were evaluated in three rainfed stations of Sararood (Kermanshah), Maragheh and Shirvan, Iran under both rainfed and...
متن کاملGenotype by environment interaction and stability analysis for grain yield of lentil genotypes
The lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) is an important cool-season crop and a valuable source of dietary protein and ranks seventh among grain legumes. Genotype by environment (GE) interaction is considered to be among the major factors limiting the efficiency of breeding programs. Eight improved lentil genotypes from the International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), one...
متن کاملGenetic Heritability for Grain Yield and Its Related Characters in Spring Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.)
Seven F3 progenies and their 8 parental lines of spring wheat were evaluated for some genetic parameters viz., coefficient of variability (Cv), genetic variance (Vg), heritability percentage (h %) and genetic advance (GA) in 7 quantitative characters (grain yield and its associated traits). Highly significant (p≤0.01) differences were observed for all the characters viz. plant height, number of...
